The Process
How it works
Three steps, two minutes of your time to start, and no obligation at any point. Here is exactly what happens when you reach out.
Step one: tell us about the business
Our confidential inquiry form asks what your business does, roughly how it performs, why you are considering a sale, and how quickly you would like to move. You do not need financial statements, a valuation, or a prepared summary. An honest sketch is enough for a first look.
Everything you share stays with us. No listing goes up, no blast email goes out, and no one in your industry hears your name.
Step two: a real answer within one business day
We review every inquiry personally, and we respond within one business day. That response is one of three honest answers: yes, this fits what we buy and here is how a direct offer would work; no, but a buyer in our network is looking for exactly this; or no, and here is why, plus what we would do in your position.
If the fit is with us, we follow with a short call and a simple request for the numbers that matter: revenue, owner earnings, lease terms, and staff count. If the fit is with our network, we describe the buyer and their proof of funds before any introduction happens.
Step three: an offer or an introduction
For businesses we buy directly, you receive a written offer with clear terms: price, structure, timeline, and what happens to your employees and your name on the door. There is no obligation and no expiration pressure. Compare it against anything else on the table.
For introductions, we connect you with one vetted buyer, not a parade of them. You interview them as much as they evaluate you. If it is not right, tell us and we either find another or tell you honestly that the timing is wrong.
What it costs
Nothing. Sellers never pay us. When we buy, we profit by owning the business. When we refer, the buyer pays any fee. For a full explanation, including how direct offers are priced and what brokers typically charge by comparison, see what it costs.
Confidentiality, start to finish
A sale rumor can cost you employees, customers, and leverage. Every conversation with us is confidential, and we never contact your staff, customers, landlords, or competitors. When a buyer from our network is involved, they sign a confidentiality agreement before they learn anything identifying. Read our standard for the full commitment.
Start with a confidential conversation.
No cost. No obligation. No one finds out you asked.
